TownTable is a campus-focused digital platform that enables students to discover, order, and receive food from on-campus vendors in a simple and cost-effective way.

We act as a technology platform connecting users with campus canteens. We do not prepare food or directly handle delivery.

Our Services

1. Food Ordering Platform

Users can:

• Browse menus from campus vendors
• View food items, prices, and availability
• Add items to cart and place orders

All information is updated by vendors to ensure accuracy.

2. Digital Payment Facilitation

TownTable enables seamless digital payments through:

• UPI (Unified Payments Interface)

Users can securely complete payments via supported UPI apps.

3. Merchant-Led Delivery

• All orders are prepared and delivered by the respective vendors.
• Delivery is limited to IIIT Guwahati campus.
• No third-party delivery partners are involved.

This model ensures:

• Faster delivery
• Lower costs
• Better coordination

4. Ratings & Feedback System

Users can:

• Rate their orders
• Provide feedback on food and experience

This helps improve vendor quality and user satisfaction.

Products Offered

TownTable does not manufacture or sell food directly. Food items listed on the platform are provided by independent campus vendors and may include:

• Snacks (rolls, sandwiches, etc.)
• Meals (thali, rice, curries, etc.)
• Beverages (tea, coffee, cold drinks)
• Packed items (ready-to-eat products)

Availability, pricing, and preparation are controlled by the respective vendors.

Pricing & Charges

• Food prices are set by vendors.
• Platform fee (if applicable) is shown before checkout.
• No delivery charges within campus.
• Minimum order value: ₹99
